Allume Custom Education Policy for Working ​with Step Up for Students Scholarship in Florida

At Allume Custom Education, we are committed to providing high-quality, personalized education to our ​students. We are proud to partner with Step Up for Students to support families in accessing the ​education their children deserve. To ensure a smooth and effective collaboration, the following policy ​outlines the responsibilities and requirements for clients utilizing the Step Up for Students Scholarship.

Client Responsibilities:

1. Registration Fee:

Clients are responsible for paying a $150 registration fee before services begin. This fee covers resources, ​licenses, staffing, and customized paperwork.

2. Weekly Sessions Commitment:

Clients are responsible for attending and completing all weekly sessions as outlined in Allume's Learning ​Plan and customized contract.

3. Reimbursement and Funding:

If Step Up for Students denies reimbursement or funding for Allume's services, the client is responsible for ​covering the costs out of pocket.

4. Direct Pay Service Fee:

If the client opts to use Direct Pay through the Educational Marketplace with Step Up for Students, the ​client will be responsible for a weekly $10 service fee. This fee is paid out of pocket to cover any delays in ​funding.

5. Cancellation Notice:

The client agrees to provide a minimum of 30 days cancellation notice. The client is responsible for paying ​for any services rendered up to the point of cancellation.

6. Timely Submission of Invoices:

The client agrees to submit any invoices received from Allume Custom Education to Step Up for ​Students within 2-3 days of receipt to ensure timely funding for the student's education.

Adjustment Policy:

Please understand that Allume operates as a school built around your child and charges Weekly Tuition. ​While our instructors do their best to accommodate your scheduling needs, they also work very hard to ​prepare for your child. Therefore, there will be no payment adjustments for student tuition.

In lieu of forfeiting precious educational time, please consider some of the following alternatives and work ​with your instructor to find the best solution for your family:

• Skip your Virtual Session (A), but receive Independent Learning (B) for the week.
  
• Reschedule for another day of the week.
  
• Double session the next week with a 5-minute break in between sessions.
  
• Add 30 minutes to the next session and use the additional 30 minutes as "on-call homework help" ​for the next month.
  
• Break up the session into 15-minute segments (4) and add time to the next few sessions.
  
• Break the session in half and do 30 minutes additional (either before or after) your sessions for the ​next two weeks.
  

By adhering to these policies, we can maintain a consistent and effective educational experience for your ​child. We appreciate your cooperation and look forward to supporting your child's educational journey.
